Description
Amatitlania siquia. These fish are closely related to convict cichlids and their care is quite similar, but they posses much more stunning body colour. Both sexes are a lovely metallic blue with dark banding and orangish tones in the body and finnage. They are genrally agreed to have a better attitude than convicts and can be housed with other (large and robust) fishes, although they will still get nasty when breeding.
These are juveniles around 2" long.
