Description
Brachydanio rerio is one of the most popular and iconic aquarium fish. These active schoolers are extremely hardy and make the perfect first fish to add to a cycling tank. Zebra danios are a peaceful community fish and are compatible with most similarly-sized species; however, very tiny or very shy species are best avoided as the high activity level of danios, especially at feeding time, may cause them to hide away and refuse food. Their high speed also makes them great dither fish for some more aggressive fish, such as small to medium cichlids.
This is a batch of the selectively bred "Golden" morph. These are juveniles about 3/4" in length.
