Description

These cichlids are proving very hard to get photos of! If you are interested in them, and would like to see video footage, please email your request to Tails.Crew3466@gmail.com and we will be happy to show you!

Apistogramma sp. wilhelmi (Also traded as A. sp. abacaxis, or under its "A-Number" as A-227) is an undescribed variety of Apistogramma. These fish are rare in the hobby and highly sought after by Apisto enthusiasts. These fish are known for the gorgeous ruddy brown to deep purple faces and lips of the males. In the body, they develop gold and silver with a black bar across the body. Even females are prettier than the average apisto, being a rich golden instead of the usual pastel yellow. These are a real find for any dwarf cichlid collector!

These are juveniles just over an inch long. Sexes are not guaranteed.
