Glass pH Checker - 25 mm dia.
The
Seachem Glass pH Checker is a state of the art pH checker that can be
used in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The pH checker is
affixed to the tank with included suction cups and helps to closely
monitor the sensitive pH balances within the tank. A highly sensitive
indicating solution comes with the device, and will change color when
submerged in the water so that the aquarium owner will be alerted to any
changes in the chemical balance of the tank. The pH checker makes
monitoring CO2 concentrations and pH levels in planted aquariums a walk
in the park. Works effectively in any size aquarium. Has a diameter of
25 mm.
Directions:
The
Seachem Glass pH Checker works with any size aquarium. Holding the
funnel side of pH Checker upward fill the small bulb with 20 drops of
indicator solution. Slowly turn the funnel side down avoiding any
spillage of the solution. Insert pH Checker into aquarium funnel side
down trapping air in the funnel. Attach the pH Checker in aquarium at
the furthest point from any diffuser.
The
color of the indicator solution will change yellow to green to blue
according to the pH of the water. A more yellow color indicates lower pH
/ more CO2. A more blue color indicates higher pH/less CO2.
