Animal & Plant Shipping Temporarily Suspended
As we get closer to Christmas many courier companies are becoming overwhelmed by the sheer number of parcels being shipped. This has been doubly amplified due to Covid-19 and the increased volume of online purchasing. We rely on the reliability of the courier companies to get our live animals and plants to our customers in an expedited manner. Most animal shipments are sent overnight priority and usually get to the customer within 24 hours for most locations. Plants are sent by a slightly slower method but in the winter this is usually 48 hours or less with heat pack.
Because of the delays we have been experiencing, this early in the season, we have temporarily suspended all animal and plant shipments sent by our normal courier method. The health and safety of the animals and plants we sell is paramount and long delays jeopardize the safe journey of the animal or plant to their new home.
For customers close to a major centre we can still offer airport to airport shipping. This method can be requested even in normal shipping times. There is no flat rate for this method as it is based on airport of destination, airline used and dimensions of the container. Please contact us for further details on this method.
Drygoods orders are not affected by these changes and continue to ship as normal. Please be aware that there are some shortages of products and we are doing our best to keep everything in stock and the website current and updated. Feel free to contact us with anything you don't see on our site. We have many options for shipping your order and can ship the method that offers the quickest service window
