Description
Inpaichthys kerri (sometimes called the royal tetra) resembles the true Emperor Tetras of the genus Nematocrycon. Unlike true emperors, these tetras do possess a fatty adipose fin behind the dorsal fin. These fish in particular of the “Superblue” strain, selectively bred for maximum blue colour. Blue emperor tetras are usually quite peaceful and fit well into most community aquaria.
These are young adults just over an inch long.
