Spectacular and huge species named after famed broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough. This species is categorised under the IUCN Red List as Critically Endangered (CR), since from the time of it’s discovery in 2007, wild populations were found to be barely sustainable. Ex-situ conservation work is likely to play an important role in it’s long-term survival.
Nepenthes attenboroughii is known as a challenging species to grow and is not recommended for the beginner. Plants as shipped are nursery weaned and healthy but are extra-small size, having a leaf span of typically between 3.5cm and 4.0cm (or about 1 ½ ”). At this size they are still relatively soft, and whilst we guarantee delivery in good condition, we cannot take responsibility for whether or not they subsequently establish or flourish.
*Please note that these plants are grown in extremely humid conditions and will require a period of acclimatization to your growing conditions. Photos are provided for reference and may not represent the size of plant you will receive.
