Description
Apistogramma cacatuoides, popularly known as the Cockatoo cichlid, is a peaceful small cichlid from South America. It is one of the easiest to keep species of Apisto and has been bred frequently in aquariums, resulting in many ornamental colour strains. This is the not-often seen wild morph, which is yellow and tan with steely blue and orange finnage.
