Description
Carnegiella levis is one of the smallest species of hatchetfish. They are largely transparent, hence their name of “Glass Hatchetfish”. Like other hatchets, they are schoolers and should be maintained in groups. Hatchetfish are accomplished jumpers, so a complete lid is a must. Few other fish spend as much time at the surface as hatchets do, making them perfect to add life to an often empty layer of the tank. Great for paludariums too!
