Local Delivery

Local delivery is expanding again! Added to our local delivery routes are the Niagara Region into St Catherines, Brantford and surrounding area and a new group of postal codes in the northern part of Barrie. London is on the map but at the present time it's 3 to 5 days to London so sending things like frozen or live feeders would be out of the question. We aren't adding London yet.

There is also a bit of a change in some delivery times for some of the present zones included in the area around Hamilton. These areas will join the new areas in that they won't be same day but will be next day delivery. The Hamilton region will hopefully return to next day in the near future but this will be up to the delivery partner.

*UPDATE*  unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control will be unable to send live or frozen rodents to next day delivery zones. We hope to have this issue sorted  out soon.

 Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Vaughan, Maple, Richmond Hill and Markham are all available for delivery 7 days per week. Same day delivery is possible for these zones if we have your order before noon that day. This is also dependent on the inventory being correct. The other zones will be shipped Monday to Thursday only for next day delivery at the present time.

The default for local delivery is either a signature or PIN to verify identity on delivery. You can waive this by leaving a note in the order that you are ok with the parcel being left in a secure area. Our shipping partner Shippie will give you the option to change delivery requirements in the tracking that they will send you. Toronto and some other municipalities that are being delivered by our other partner Trexity must let us know if you want it left without PIN/signature. They will not attempt a second delivery but will return the parcel to us. They charge us for the return as well as redelivery. This will be charge to the customer. PIN/Signature is the default for all local delivery orders. Unfortunately specific times for delivery are not possible.

Large items like aquariums, terrariums, stands etc that are oversized may have to be delivered by the shop and will result in a possible delay depending on availability.

If your postal code starts with one of these postal codes local delivery should be available to you.
