Description
Pareutropius buffei is a cool little striped catfish from West Africa; the real P. debauwi is rarely traded, but we'll use its common name for the sake of preventing confusion. Also known as the African Glass Catfish or 3-Stripe Glass Cat. It's a peaceful schooling species that pairs well with most laid-back community fish around its size. These catfish quite strongly resemble "ID shark" catfish of the genus Pangasius, but unlike those 3-4'+ monster fish, they only reach about 3" long, making them perfect for filling that "look" without being massive.
This is a batch of young adults around 2" long.
