Description
Loricaria simillima is a rarely-seen but gorgeous species of whiptail catfish from South America. These inactive cats may reach 7" in length, but are perfectly fine in a 20 gallon long tank as they just sit around for most of the day, generally on full display. These are an omnivorous species that leans on the meat eater side, so sinking pellets and frozen foods are much appreciated. With a large dorsal fin, extended tail streamer, and thorny skin, these make an amazing and easy display pleco. Not something you see every day!
These are captive bred juveniles about 3-4" long.
