The mossy leaf-tailed gecko (Uroplatus sikorae) is a species of nocturnal arboreal gecko from Madagascar. Well adapted for arboreal life, this gecko perfectly blends into its environment. It can be hard to see when it lies against mossy tree branches and bark. The Uroplatus genus as a whole are a cool temperature animal, and do not do well above 84 F/28 C. Humidity is moderate at 50-90%, with a heavy misting at evening/nightfall to facilitate drinking.
