This iconic species is one of the most famous of all, having been portrayed by Marianne North in her beautiful 19th century painting (shown as the last photo in the sequence here). It was subsequently published as a species and named in her honour. It is very spectacular and has an absolutely beautiful scalloped peristome. Pitcher colouration is typically red speckled on cream background. Prefers shaded conditions.
*Please note that these plants are grown in extremely humid conditions and will require a period of acclimatization to your growing conditions. Photos are provided for reference and may not represent the size of plant you will receive.
