he female parent is the giant Black N. robcantleyi with the cultivar name ‘Queen of Hearts’ and is very probably the most photographed Nepenthes in history, having appeared on many of our gold medal winning Chelsea Flower show exhibits. The male parent is a classic pure-green form of N. reinwardtiana, with our collection ID# 1508.
This is a most unusual looking cross and apart from its striking yellow colour and unusual box-like pitcher shape conferred by the male parent, the sheer size of the pitchers is eye-catching.
*Please note that these plants are grown in extremely humid conditions and will require a period of acclimatization to your growing conditions. Photos are provided for reference and may not represent the size of plant you will receive.
