Description
Xenotoca eiseni. These are among the most colourful of Goodeid livebearers. They do not make as good community fish as other livebearers, and are known to be boisterous and nippy, so other robust, schooling species such as barbs would probably be the best choice for tankmates. Like all livebearers these fish are very easy to breed; Goodeids are also known for not usually eating their young, unlike many more popular livebearers such as guppies.
These are juveniles around 0.75" long.
