Description

Iriatherina werneri (also called the Featherfin Rainbow) is a unique species of small rainbowfish from New Guinea. Not quite reaching 2" in length, they are one of the best rainbowfish for smaller aquaria. Easily bullied out of feeding, they are best kept with other small and peaceful fishes. Males develop extraordinary fin extensions when mature, hence their common name. watching the males spar for female attention makes these one of the more interesting schooling fish, from a behavioural standpoint.

These are juveniles around 0.75" long. All males.
