Description
Charax gibbosus is a large and intimidating-looking tetra, but looks can be deceiving. While they may nip at scales or fins on tankmates, and are certainly considered semi-aggressive, they still make good residents of a semi-agressive community with other fishes around their size. The name 'Headstander' comes from their curious habit of swimming at an approximately 45 degree angle, with their heads pointed downwards.
These are adults around 3-4" long.
