Description
Ilyodon xantusi is a species of Goodeid livebearer that reaches about 4" in length. These beauties have yellow to beige bodies with silvery blue iridescence, and males have a black and yellow edged tail fin filled with black spoeckling. The main claim to fame for these particular fish, however, is that they are relatively peaceful for a Goodeid, and thus are a more appropriate choice for some community aquaria than many of their cousins.
