Description
Also known as the Umbrella Cichlid, Apistogramma borellii is a species of dwarf cichlid native to southern Brazil and northern Argentina. Its most distinct feature compared to other Apistos is the extremely large and showy dorsal fin. There are many localities and selectively bred ornamental strains, but most share a basic colour pattern; yellow base colour and fins, with blue iridescence on the body and iridescent markings around the face.
These are subadults of the 'Yellow-Blue' morph, around 1" long. They're starting to colour up but are not 100% sexable yet.
