Description
Pomacea bridgesii is a larger aquatic snail available in a multitude of colours. They are often refrred to as apple snails due to their round shells and large adult size. These snails make good algae eaters but are also known to nibble on softer-leaved plants. These snails are cool-water tolerant, making them good companions for goldfish. While they can breed, they lay their eggs above the waterline where they be easily removed before hatching, so overpopulation is not an issue.
These are mixed morphs. Approx. 0.75-1" in diameter.
