Description
Bunocephalus sp., likely B. coracoideus. These burrowing catfish spend much of their time hidden in the substrate of in caves, but will usually come out when they smell food in the tank. They're very peaceful with their own kind and other fishes, only posing a threat to the tiniest of creatures because of their small mouths. While reaching almost 6", their inactive nature means you really only need a 15-20 gallon tank to house these oddball catfish.
These are young adults, around 3-4" long.
