Description
The Venezuelan Orange Cory is considered a naturally-occurring colour variant of either C. aeneus or C. schultzei (which many people consider synonymous with C. aeneus). These are one of the more colourful cories, with rusty orange backs and fins, and a distinct black blotch on the flanks. As they are technically bronze cories, they can be expected to reach an adult size around 2.5".
These are young specimens, around 1" long. They are just beginning to develop their adult colour.
