Description
Inpaichthys kerri (sometimes called the royal tetra) resembles the true Emperor Tetras of the genus Nematobrycon. Unlike true emperors, these tetras do possess a fatty adipose fin behind the dorsal fin. Reaching about 1.5" max, blue emperor tetras are usually quite peaceful and fit well into most community aquaria.
These are adults, around 1" long.
