Description
Stiphodon atropurpureus is a colourful species of freshwater river goby from Southeast Asia. Native to fast flowing strems, they appreciate high flow, cooler temperatures, and high oxygen cotent. These are algae grazers, and while the occasional meaty treat such as bloodworms or sinking pellets is appreciated, the majority of their diet should be plant matter. Males develop stunning electric blue colour with maturity.
These are juveniles around 1" long. They are unfortunately too young to sex at the moment, sorry!
