Description
Mikrogeophagus altispinosus is a lovely species from bolivia and Brazil. While not as overtly colourful as their more popular 'cousin', the German Ram (Mikrogeophagus ramirezi) they still have lovely yellows and greens in the body and bold pinks or reds in the fins. Unlike German rams, they are more gregarious and appreciate being kept in groups of 5-6+ individuals. Overall, these beautiful dwarf cichlids make a wonderful addition to most community aquaria.
This is a batch of juveniles around 1.5" long, not yet able to be sexed with confidence.
