Found in Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra in rainforest and in low and open kerangas foresta at elevations of 500 to 600 meters. It is a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a creeping and branching rhizome and flowers small purple inflorescence with a yellow/orange lip
