BEAR IN MIND THAT, AS FEEDERS, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE LIVE ARRIVAL OR LONG TERM HEALTH OF THESE SHRIMP
Neocaridina is a very popular genus of dwarf shrimp, available in many different selectively-bred colour forms, such as the ubiquitous Cherry Shrimp. They are very easy to keep and breed. Most fish can eat babies, so if you want a high-production colony we recommend keeping them alone; however, in a well-planted aquarium babies can still survive with fish and adults make petrfectly good additions to communities of small, peaceful fish. Some of the best choice for fish include small cyprinids such as Boraras and Celestial Pearl danios, dwarf Corydoras sp, and kuhlii loaches.
These are a clear or lightly barred morph, similar to the innate wild type. Not as flashy as their line bred cousins, they were produced with the intent of being used as algae cleaners or to be bred as live food. Of course, being the same creature as the colourful morphs, they still make perfectly good pets for those who don't mind their dull colour.
