Description
Aphanotorulus ammophilus, aka the Cute Pleco, was presumably named for its large, cutesy eyes. This sand loving (ammophilus quite literally means sand-lover) pleco is an omnivore. Reaching about 6", it is a mid sized pleco and should pair well with most community fishes.
These are juveniles around 2.5-3" long.
