Description
Nematobrycon palmeri is a mid sized species of tetra from Colombia which reaches about 2" long. Males have blue eyes, a triple forked tail and a purple-ish sheen over the body; females are more drab (but still gorgeous!) and have green eyes. These very peaceful tetras are the perfect addition for almost any community tank.
These are juveniles around 1" long.
Pictured are our grown out emperors in one of our display tanks; received fish may differ from the photos, but with some patience all emperor tetras will grow to be just as beautiful!
