Description
Epalzeorhynchos kalopterus is a colourful, algae-eating carp from southeast asia. Closely related to the popular Siamese algae eater, their care is basically the same; just like their cousins, they are voracious eaters of algae, hair algae especially. They are busy fish that reach about 6", so shy and very small fish are best avoided. Flying foxes are best kept in groups (3-4 or more) to help minimize any aggression they might show to their tankmates.
