Corydoras melanotaenia resembles the popular Bronze Cory (C. aeneus) but is more colourful. Because of this, they are sometime known as Elongate Bronze Cories. They have a grayish-green body with yellow fins & belly. This is a mid-sized Cory that reaches about 2.5" in length.

These specimens are subadults around 1.5" long.
