Description
Scobinancistrus aureatus, also known as the Goldie pleco, is a beloved species of pleco from the Rio Xingu in Brazil. Starting off bold black with pearly spots and yellow finnage, their base tone fades to a golden gray with age, while the yellow takes over more of the body. At 10" max length, this is a manageable but not tiny catfish. This pleco likes it hot, with temps overt 78 being preferred; this is an ideal pleco to go with Discus!
These are babies around 2" long.
