Description

Aplocheilus lineatus, also called the Striped Panchax, is a larger killifish from India and Sri Lanka. The "Golden Wonder" form in particular has been line bred for more intense colouration compared to their wild ancestors. These fish are fairly peaceful although males can be territorial with each other and their large mouths mean they can eat larger fish than expected (Neon tetra-sized fishes risk becoming a snack). These killis spend almost all of their time at or near the surface so they are an excellent choice to fill that often-unused space.

These are young adults around 2" long.
