Description
Parachaeirodon simulans, otherwise known as the Green Neon Tetra, is the lesser-known third species of neon type tetras. They are similar to standard neons (P. innesi) but with less red on the belly and a more greenish-turquoise colour to the lateral stripe. These wonderful schoolers will display their best colour in more subdued lighting.
These are young adults around 0.75-1" long.
