Description

Hemigrammus bleheri is a popular tetra from South America. These chic fish have bold red faces and a black and white "flagtail". Rummynose are known for being very tight schoolers, usually staying quite close to one another in the aquarium. Their high temperature tolerance makes them an ideal tankmate for hot-water species such as discus or german rams.

These are adult individuals, around 1.25" long.
