Description
Pelvicachromis pulcher is a colourful dwarf cichlid from the rivers of West Africa. These dedicated parents are known for forming lasting pair bonds and defending their young fiercely. Spawning Kribs is fairly easy and will likely happen without intervention if you have a pair. Interestingly, unlike most cichlids, female Kribs are more colourful than their male counterparts. Kribs make good community fish but very shy or delicate tankmates should be avoided, as should most other similarly sized or shaped cichlids.
These are young adults, around 2-2.5" in length.
