Description
Brachydanio kyathit (Sometimes known as the Orange-Fin or Fire Ring Danio) is closely related to the class Zebra Danio (B. rerio) and is altogether quite similar in terms of care and temperment. Like zebra danios, they are hardy, active schooling fish. Their colours tend to be brighter than their more common cousins, and a distinctive feature is their bright orange, striped fins. Like zebra danios, both spotted and striped form are available.
These are adults around 1.5" long. They are starting to come into their colour but good feeding and a dark substrate will bring out their true potential.
