Description
Baryancistrus beggini is a small pleco with a bluish black colour pattern. Reaching about 3.5" long, males may be territorial with other plecos. Despite commonly being referred to as a Panaque, this fish is not a member of that genus and as such is not an exclusive wood-eater. Instead, they omnivores that enjoy both plant and animal matter.
This is a young specimen around 2.5" long. Will differ from photos.
