Description
Inlecypris auropurpurea is a rarely seen danio from Lake Inle in Myanmar. These active schooling fish reach about 3" long, making them a middle-ground between smaller common danios like the Zebra Danio, and larger species like the Giant Danio. They possess a row of golden vertical stripes, and have a distinct purple or blue sheen over the whole body. Lake Inle Danios are peaceful fish that should pair well with most other community fishes around their size. Lake Inle has a large amount of floating vegetation, and these danios are known to be most comfortable when housed in a tank with floating plants to replicate this environment.
This is a batch of adults around 2-3" long.
