Description
Hyphessobrycon cf. moniliger. These were imported as H. negodagua but are most certainly not that fish. These are a very bright orange tetra with a black spot or streak across the tail area. Pictures do not do them justice; these fish are absolutely neon. They should stay small, less than two inches. Like all tetras they are best maintained in groups.
These are wild caught subadults around 1" long. Females are duller than males, but having females around encourages the best colour from males.
