Description
Xiphophorus maculatus is a popular and hardy aquarium fish available in a wide variety of colours. Often recommended to beginners or for new tanks due to their hardiness and adaptability, even expert fishkeepers find joy in the ease of breeding them and forming new, unique colour strains.
These Neon Red Mickies are orange to red with reflective orange scales scattered on the flanks. They also posses a characteristic cluster of 'Mickey Mouse' spots at the wrist of the tail. These are young adults around 1" long.
