Description
Micropanchax macrophthalmus, aka the Filamentous Lampeye, is a rarely-seen schooling killifish from Africa. Like the more popular Norman's lampeye, these are a peaceful and diminutive killi, more similar in behaviour to a small tetra or rasbora. Unlike Norman's lampeyes, however, this species sports bright blue streaking on the flanks in addition to the classic, eye catching 'Lampeyes'.
