Description
Cheirodon ortegai is a rare, new species of tetra from Peru. These subtle beauties are translucent silver with a paired black and gold stripe across the flank. Like all tetras they are schoolers and should be kept in groups. Little information is available on this species, but care should be quite easy and they should fit well into community aquaria.
These are young adults around 1" long.
