Description
Also known as the Lake Kurumoi rainbow, Melanotaenia parva is a mid-sized rainbowfish, comparable in size to the popular Neon Dwarf Rainbow (Melanotaenia praecox). These attractive rainbows turn a sunset orange colour with age, and make a lovely addition to most community aquariums.
These are subadults around 1.5" long that are just starting to develop colour.
