Description
Thayeria boehlkei. Also known as the Hockey Stick Tetra for the bent stripe that runs across their body into the tail. Although they are known as fin-nippers a large school (6-10 individuals or more) usually keeps any aggression contained to the group. These popular tetras reach about 2.5-3" long.
These are subadult individuals around 1-1.5" long.
