Description
Phallichthys tico, sometimes known as the Merry Widow, is a rare and sought after livebearer from Central America. Males rarely exceed 1" and females reach about 2". Both sexes have a lovely orange colour to the body and a black dorsal fin; males also get a blue iridescence to the fins. They are easy to keep and breed, like most other livebearers.
