Description
Phyllanthus fluitans. Red root floaters are known as one of the most colourful floating plant options, and are very popular with aquascapers. They have a fine velvety texture on the tops of their leaves, and ruby red undersides and roots. In strong light the tops of the leaves will also go deep red, but their lime green colour in dimmer light is still quite pleasing.
These are locally grown rooted portions of Red Root floaters. Floaters may arrive with green leaves but strong lighting will induce red colouration.
