Description
Pimelodus pictus, also called the Spotted Pim, is an active mid-sized catfish that likes to live in groups. They get large enough to eat small fishes such as Neon Tetras or Guppies, and can bother particularly shy and slow fish with their high activity level, but otherwise they make good additions to mid-to-large sized community tanks. Bright light may make them hide during daylight hours so floating plants are often appreciated.
