Description
Pseudomugil pellucidus, aka the Transparent Blue-Eye rainbowfish, is a rare and interesting blue-eye from West Papua. As the common name implies, these fish have glassy, see-through bodies; however, they are also marked with brilliant orange and black banding in the fins, and an electric white spot on the top of the head.
These are near full grown specimens of the Mimika locality.
